abstract = "The main objective of this article is to explore the vulnerabilities in social engineering presented by TEC Computer Engineering students as a particular case study, which will serve as a reference to alert the entire population to be prepared and learn first-hand about the best practices and specific actions that students can apply to counteract this type of shortcomings with respect to security in their different areas of access and use. A guide will be made to manage them and provide the appropriate controls considering ISO/IEC 27002 Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection-Information security controls. A pilot application in Augmented Reality was also designed as a tool to strengthen knowledge of the best practices that should be used. Finally, the conclusions and future work are shown.",
