Abstract

We present a circuit based on an operational amplifier that allows measuring the voltage of solar modules in arrays with serial-parallel topology. One of the main problems of the reconfiguration system is the high cost of the required voltage sensors. The circuit proposed in this work measures each module voltage at a lower cost. The scheme is based on a wired operational circuit in differential mode allowing to measure each PV module voltage even if it is re-located electrically within the array. Another advantage of the proposed scheme is that it eliminates electrical noise.
