Abstract
This work analyzes the design implications of a control strategy for DC-link based inverters in PV gridconnected systems, based on the association of both discretelinear and variable structure controllers. The application of this control approach to Central and String inverters lead to a comparative in terms of the design restrictions for both topologies which is evidenced by means of simulation results.
