Abstract

The objective of this proposal is show Action Research can impact the development of women in territories like Sarapiquí, who have limited material or technological resources. The analysis of the current situation in these contexts is proposed and methods and routes are proposed on how to incorporate innovation and knowledge to close this gap through Action Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, as well as directing them to STEM careers as an opportunity for growth. The research is qualitative, uses a questionnaire instrument with 24 specific questions to address the variables under study, which was applied to a group the entrepreneurial women. Finally, conclusions and future study are presented.
