Project Details

Description

Cleaning activities are monotonous and expensive but essential to comply with health standards or to ensure optimal functioning of systems. If the element that needs to be cleaned is at high altitude or in places that are difficult to access, it represents a significant risk for a human operator. This is the case of the metal ceilings of food industries and the set of panels of a solar installation. These systems are located at high heights and have common properties such as containing metal structures and forming rectangular areas. This proposal proposes the development of a semi-automatic robotic system that aims to reduce the costs and risks associated with cleaning metal ceilings and arrays of photovoltaic solar panels. The project will be developed in conjunction with the company Ecokhemia who will be covering all of the operating expenses of the project.
