Description
The project’s two main activities are carried out in parallel. On the one hand, training opportunities on various topics are offered to teachers who teach Mathematics in secondary schools. On the other hand, the offering of the Precalculus and Calculus I courses is coordinated with secondary education teachers so that their students can be evaluated by the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. The purpose is that students who pass these courses under the conditions established by TEC may request their recognition if they are admitted to a state university, in accordance with CONARE’s agreement on the equivalency of Mathematics courses.

Contribute to the improvement of mathematical training at the secondary education level.
