Project Details

Description

The purpose of this research proposal is to analyze the relationship between green intellectual capital and product innovation. Eco-friendly practices have been shown to be a key component of organizational success, both internally and in terms of corporate social responsibility. However, there is a gap in the literature regarding the dimensions of green intellectual capital—human, structural, and relational capital—in product and technological innovation and business performance, especially in emerging economies and developing countries.
The proposed methodology is quantitative; a census will be conducted using no parametric statistics. This is important because it offers analytical tools that do not require strict assumptions about data distribution. This makes it useful in situations where the data does not follow a normal distribution, when the sample is small, or when working with ordinal or nominal data. The analysis and statistical testing of the model will be performed using Smart-PLS software. Partial least squares models will be used using SmartPLS to analyze the hypotheses. The scale to be used will be corroborated in the literature to ensure that they are previously validated scales.
The project results will be published in Scopus-indexed journals. The project will also participate in conferences such as CLADEA to share the main research findings, test hypotheses, and propose concrete actions. The study is expected to support the idea that the dimensions of green intellectual capital—structural, relational, and human capital—improve product innovation and other related variables.
The implications derived from this study will be very important for the formulation of public and business policies that promote environmentally friendly practices and strengthen product innovation in companies.
