Project Details
Description
This extension project seeks to empower the ecological and fair-trade cacao value chain by
implementing a collaborative outreach strategy to bolster the Association of Women
Entrepreneurs of the Communities of Upala (AMECUP). The primary focus is on promoting
collective and equitable agricultural practices and enhancing the capacity of AMECUP, a
collective predominantly composed of migrant women. The goal is to enable AMECUP to
successfully market a cacao-based product in France, reflecting the strong identity and
solidarity of the organization. This initiative aspires not only to increase the income of the
women involved but also to contribute to the overall improvement of the quality of life in the
region
