EVEPRIM 6.1: Creación de recursos educativos abiertos para estudiantes de sexto año de Educación General Básica en Costa Rica

This project aims to address the issue of educational blackouts and contribute to improving
the quality of mathematics education in the sixth grade of General Basic Education by
strengthening the teaching of this subject at these levels through the development,
validation, and application of interactive and contextualized Open Educational Resources
(OER). These resources are designed to promote inclusive and high-quality pedagogical
practices at a national level, with special attention to the needs of diverse educational
communities. This proposal will cover the five mathematical areas proposed by the Ministry
of Public Education at the mentioned level, which were not addressed in previous EVEPRIM
projects.

The validation of the generated OER will be carried out by consulting the judgment of experts
in primary education. Additionally, there will be a rigorous review by educational developers,
which includes all extension agents participating in the integration, development, and design
of the project, to address the issue in question. Although the target audience of this project
is the entire educational community involved in the sixth year of Costa Rican General Basic
Education (EGB), work will be focused on four regions of the country located in Quintile I,
where training on the use of these resources will be provided.
