Project Details
Description
This project aims to determine the degree of congruence that first-time students in 2024 present between the career they wanted to enter, the career they finally enrolled in, and their vocational profile. Applying the test to the first-entry population will allow for determining percentiles similar to those of the secondary school population. This will allow for subsequent implementation with the population enrolled in the ITCR admission exam, providing greater and better input for vocational decision-making. In the case of women, ITCR could implement actions to promote greater entry into careers with greater representation of men.
For the research, general information questions about the student population and their vocational preferences will be included, and the following two instruments will be applied: a) The Test of Vocational Skills and Preferences at ITCR Careers, b) the Vocational Satisfaction Evaluation Scale
