Project Details

Description

The country's equity and social integration indicators show evidence of deterioration despite
the increase in budgets allocated to cover public social spending. A joint action between
the university and local governments would contribute to improve the conditions that
exacerbate the social violence in which we live. Training community leaders in the
formulation of social projects with a gender perspective would allow communities to achieve
a desired quality of life and integrate access to opportunities without exclusion. Through
participatory methodologies, competencies will be acquired to become aware of the
importance of the characteristics of the population to whom social projects are directed, the
political and cultural conditions, and the existence of formal and informal spaces for the
participation of women and men. In addition, it would support the resolution of social
problems of a particular group of people and their communities through strategic solutions
on a particular issue.
