Project Details

Description

Inter-institutional collaboration between academia, educational institutions, local government, and social actors is essential to address the needs of rural communities. This proposal includes four strategic visits to encourage participation, two birdwatching tours, and four educational awareness workshops. Additionally, there will be participation in an environmental fair. These initiatives aim to strengthen environmental awareness among schoolchildren, teenagers, and the communities within the area of influence of La Balsa farm. The proposal promotes a socio-environmental awareness process that leads to increased biodiversity conservation—especially of birds—through inter-institutional coordination.

General Objective

Fortalecer la conciencia ambiental en el área de influencia de finca La Balsa mediante actividades de concientización socio ambiental y aviturismo para la promoción de prácticas sostenible que contribuyan con la conservación de las aves y su hábitat.
