The Costa Rican educational model must aspire to comply with global standards, guaranteeing an inclusive, equitable, and quality education. To achieve this, it is essential that educators acquire digital skills that allow them to effectively integrate information and communication technologies into teaching and learning. Likewise, adequate training in STEM areas must be ensured, and educational programs that promote education for sustainable development, global citizenship, and intercultural understanding must be promoted. The perception and performance of the actors in the educational process, which will promote continuous improvement in the system. To promote education in a comprehensive way, we propose the integration of students, teachers, and society, taking advantage of Industry 4.0 technologies. Our goal is to improve teaching-learning processes through an AI-powered Smart Classroom and awareness of emotions. The smart classroom will analyze the emotions of both students and teachers in real time using image data from videos. In addition, the system will provide teachers with real-time suggestions, improving the quality of their teaching activities and feedback during the different stages of the teaching process. These suggestions will be based on factors such as non-verbal cues, including hand gestures, facial expressions, and body language
