Acciones de RSE en las empresas familiares y no familiares que contribuyen con la sostenibilidad económica empresarial a largo plazo

This proposal is the complement of a project that analyzes the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions
carried out by family businesses, which contribute to their business economic sustainability in the long term,
since; although research on CSR has focused on large organizations; there is empirical evidence on the
need to recognize the importance and contribution of CSR activities in family businesses as well. Thus,
through a quantitative approach we aim to establish whether there is a correlation between the CSR actions
carried out by family and non-family businesses with long-term business economic sustainability. The results
will be of academic relevance and will provide inputs to improve the business management and economic
sustainability of family and non-family businesses both in Costa Rica and Spain, as well as the generation of
new social strategies and processes that strengthen CSR practices.
