Study of living organisms with secondary metabolites, their extraction, elicitation, in vivo and in vitro testing, and production of products for therapeutic purposes.

Bioprocesses: inoculation, optimization testing, bioreactor design, scaling, separation, and generation of a product useful to humans.

I am currently a professor in the Biotechnology Engineering program and a researcher at the Biotechnology Research Center at the Technological Institute of Costa Rica.
