Research interests

Focus on numerical methods applied to solid mechanics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics, finite element analysis, digital image processing, image correlation, and the computational design of medical devices. He is currently developing research lines related to medical device simulation, the personalized design of orthopedic implants, the use of computationally generated porous structures, and the integration of workflows that combine medical imaging, CAD modeling, additive manufacturing, and structural validation.

Professor and researcher in materials engineering, with experience in numerical modeling, finite element simulation, digital image processing, and computational design applied to mechanical systems, materials, and medical devices. His research lines integrate simulation tools, programming, and experimental analysis for the development of technological solutions in engineering and higher education.
